India's infrastructure transformation is being driven by projects that demand scale, speed, and engineering excellence. As highways, transportation corridors, and public infrastructure become increasingly ambitious, the need for advanced fabrication capabilities and reliable execution continues to grow.

A notable example is the Ganga Expressway project, a landmark development aimed at enhancing connectivity and economic growth across Uttar Pradesh. As part of this corridor, Allmarc Industries Pvt. Ltd. successfully executed and commissioned nine toll plaza structures for Adani Road Transport Limited, showcasing its expertise in engineering, fabrication, and EPC execution.

A Landmark Infrastructure Achievement

The project involved the design, fabrication, supply, erection, and commissioning of toll plaza structures ranging from 2-lane and 8-lane configurations to a monumental 16-lane toll plaza.

Among its key highlights were one of the widest toll plaza structures in India, an approximately 80-metre-wide canopy span, a 38-metre-high architectural structure, and one of the country's largest PTFE-integrated toll plaza systems. Executed across nine locations, the project demonstrates how modern infrastructure combines functionality with architectural impact.

Why Allmarc Was Chosen

The client sought a partner capable of delivering large-span infrastructure with quality, precision, and execution reliability.

Allmarc secured the project through its proven track record in critical infrastructure developments, experience in prestigious projects such as the National High Speed Rail, strong EPC capabilities, advanced fabrication facilities in Ahmedabad, and expertise in manufacturing large architectural structures at scale. As an EN1090-certified and ISO-certified company, Allmarc was well equipped to meet the project's demanding requirements.

From Planning to Commissioning

The project commenced in July 2025 and was successfully completed in January 2026.

The first phase focused on engineering, detailing, material planning, procurement, fabrication, PTFE preparation, and quality inspections at Allmarc's Ahmedabad facility. The second phase involved transportation, site erection, PTFE installation, structural alignment, and final commissioning at the project locations

Seamless coordination between manufacturing and site execution enabled timely delivery while maintaining stringent quality standards.

Manufacturing Excellence at Scale

The project required approximately 1,200 MT of structural fabrication, highlighting Allmarc's ability to execute large-scale infrastructure projects.

Advanced manufacturing systems, skilled engineering teams, rigorous quality control processes, and efficient workflow management ensured consistent fabrication quality. Automation and modern production practices helped accelerate execution while maintaining structural reliability and dimensional accuracy.

Overcoming Complex Challenges

Executing infrastructure across multiple highway locations presented challenges including remote project sites, transportation of oversized structural components, manpower management, and tight project schedules.

Allmarc addressed these challenges through detailed planning, parallel fabrication and erection activities, efficient logistics coordination, and deployment of experienced execution teams. The collaborative efforts of engineering, fabrication, QA/QC, logistics, site erection, and PTFE installation teams ensured successful project delivery within the planned timeline.

Creating Infrastructure with Architectural Impact

Beyond functionality, the project also contributes to the visual identity of the Ganga Expressway corridor. The integration of large-span canopies, PTFE architectural membranes, and contemporary structural design transformed the toll plazas into landmark infrastructure assets.

The 16-lane toll plaza, in particular, stands as a symbol of engineering ambition, structural scale, and architectural sophistication.

Conclusion

The successful execution of nine toll plaza structures under the Ganga Expressway project reflects Allmarc's strengths in engineering, fabrication, and EPC delivery.

From one of India's widest toll plaza structures to one of the country's largest PTFE-integrated systems, the project showcases Allmarc's capability to deliver complex infrastructure at scale. As India continues investing in next-generation transportation networks, Allmarc remains committed to supporting the nation's infrastructure growth through engineering excellence, manufacturing strength, and reliable execution.
