Built to your size

Table length and width, panel thickness and tilt angle follow your panel.

The table is made to your panel drawing. The model shows a 12 m by 4.2 m table tilted to 68 degrees with a 200 mm panel on it.

How this mould works

The panel is cast flat on a steel table. Once it has gained strength, cylinders tilt the table up so a crane lifts the panel out upright, with no turning in the air.

Casting bed

A steel skin plate forms the face of the panel. It is cut on the laser and welded flat to the frame.

Side forms

Edge forms set the size and thickness of the panel. The bottom form carries the panel while the table tilts.

Ribbed frame

Longitudinal beams and a cross rib every 600 mm keep the bed flat under wet concrete and while it tilts.

Pivot stands and rest stools

The table turns on hinge pins on fixed stands bolted to the floor. When flat, it sits on rest stools for the pour.

Tilting cylinders

Hydraulic cylinders, run from a power pack, lift the table to its tilt angle and lower it back.

Vibrators

External vibrators under the bed compact the concrete through the skin.
